Fancy something a little different on your clubbing calender? NAA8 (No Admission After 8 – you can actually get in after eight o'clock, but get there early) is billed as an "imaginary journey", taking the audience through five musical acts and moods, blending ambient soundscapes into classical, electronica, trip hop, dubstep, downtempo and even metal. The "moods" aspect – walk, pulse, bounce, shine and breathe – may smack of new age floatiness and joss sticks, but take comfort in the DJ talent guiding you through, including Felix Burton of Basement Jaxx, Mira Calix of Warp Records and eclectic selector George Aretakis/Supertanker. London Fashion Week crew Tupac Martir and Satore Studio, are bringing the lighting to this intriguing event, and whilst it's easy to be sceptical of anything that pushes the "multi-sensory musical journey" line, we'll keep an open mind, which will hopefully be blown or expanded the time the lights come on.
