Commited ravers Regulate are back with a belter for the UK launch of Croatian dance party Hideout Festival. It's a daytime affair – 1pm-9pm – so get down there early and witness some pristine DJ sets from wildly talented jungle and techno beast Paul Woolford, bass behemoth Boddika, UK house pro Ejeca and dubstep don Artwork of speaker-rattling supergroup Artwork. Ooft.
Accompanying the first-class beatswill be first-class pop-up Caribbean food from the brilliantly named White Men Can't Jerk. There's also Flash Daddy, a bizarre project that labels itself as 'the world's first uglyproof photobooth', drenched in neon and strewn with weird props. Gawd knows, basically.
The venue is Hackney Wick's iCan Studios, taking place both inside the main area and utilising the venue's outdoor terrace for maximum summer vibes. As an added incentive, there'll also be free cans of a certain popular Jamaican lager given out from 1pm-2pm. We can almost hear the whole of Hackney drooling in anticipation.
