A pop-up party from the Night Tales crew, featuring cocktails, street food, DJs and a jungle theme

Read about the stats, facts, figures and fun stuff behind Summer Tales.

One thing that helped London make it through the last few arduous winters was Night Tales, a fantastic pop-up party full of creative cocktails, street food, DJs spinning dancefloor-filling tunes and general good vibes. Now the NT crew are back with an ace summer-themed pop-up. It's been in action for 13 weeks – complete with jungle decor, hammocks, rope swings and a 20m terrace to soak up the sun – and this weekend is its final session before it bows out.

Drinks are served at four bars, including the Lazy Flamingo Bar, where you can enjoy bespoke summery cocktails including a Mescal Mule and a Pin-Up Collada. As ever, food is a key part of the experience, and Summer Tales features all manner of culinary treats from top London eateries, including Burger and Lobster, seafood shack Bonnie Gull, Italian cuisine specialists Forza Win and cheese-blending warriors Morty & Bob's.

For the final wekeend of fun, the Mixmag team take over the decks on Thursday September 10, Friday September 11 sees the return of the Road to Nowhere crew, and on Saturday September 12 – the very final night – there'll be a secret special guest controlling the sounds. Don't miss out before Summer Tales leaves Shoreditch!

I used to love this place when it was Balearico's last year - firstly, you didn't have to pay to get in and it was waaaay more inclusive. The security this year are a bit full on and make the whole experience of getting in like you are 14 and trying to get into a rave illegally (what's up with the stupid barriers??!! You ain't glastonbury)

Great evening spoiled by the end. We were there on a Thursday night, from about 5pm onwards. It has a good selection of food and drink (a little bit pricey) and a fantastic atmosphere. It got to 11:30pm, we had just bought a large round of 6 pints and a bottle of wine, when all of a sudden the music got turned off and we were getting quite forcibly kicked out. The bar served right up to the point that the music went off and within 30 seconds of that we had the first security guard telling us to get out. A minute later the next and another one. Within about 5 minutes of buying our drinks we had been told to get out at least 5 times.... I'm pretty sure you have to give your customers drinking up time. We had been there for the whole night, spent a lot of money and will not be returning purely because of the rude security and kick out at the end. Your supposed to look after your customers not take the money and run!
