Great little pub tucked away near Kings Cross. They've got some benches out the front and plenty of space inside. It's great to be in the middle of London but feel like you're in a genuine old school pub. The staff are friendly, they have a variety of good quality beers and spirits as well as a good food selection. I'd recommend popping down for lunch - they have a 'light' lunch menu with very generous portions!

This is perhaps my favourite hidden London gem. Its hidden away off Grays Inn Road toward Clerkenwell but only a stones throw from Kings Cross St Pancras, less than a 10 minute walk. Once you're in you feel like a local in a country pub. Great menu, massive drink selection and a intimate venue that has small to known acts of live music, comedy and theatre. Most of which are free. On Sundays there are live folk sessions to accompany the Sunday roast, often with impromptu dancing. The Harrison is a magical place!
