We've been hoping and suspecting that a new venue would appear at 89 Great Eastern Street after the controvesy-filled closure of East Village in 2013. And here it is – Trapeze, complete with shiny new upstairs and largely untouched dancefloor space downstairs. Celebrating a welcome return for the club is Secretsundaze co-founder Giles Smith, spinning all kinds of house, disco, funk, techno and uplifting dancefloor fillers. Also delivering the goods behind the decks is former musical programmer of East Village Stuart Patterson and co-founder of warehouse-loving crew Another Party, James Manero.
