This deliciously fun – and just plain delicious – pop-up seriously impressed us last year, so we're chuffed to hear that it's back in town. As before, it's set on and around the considerable terrace space of Hackney Wick canalside venue Shapes and once again, there'll be all kinds of delicious street food on offer (from some of London's top vendors, including Bill Or Beak, The Cheese Truck, White Men Can't Jerk, Popdogs and Zoe's Ghana Kitchen), plus summertime cocktails from Butlers Gin and Quiquiriqu Mezcal, and specially brewed Turntables lager.
Once you've filled your boots (okay, your face), get dancing on the decked dancefloor to top DJs spinning deep house, twisted disco, soul, funk and more. Turntables' last season saw Horse Meat Disco, San Soda, Mount Kimbie's Kai, Krankbrother and many more get behind the decks, so expect similarly inspired line-ups this time around.
There'll also be live street art, exhibitions, a sunshine terrace and canalside seating, plus the same intimate, friendly atmosphere that made this pop-up stand-out from the crowd last year. Welcome back, Turntables!
