Festivals are often an excuse to cover yourself in UV paint and dance around like there's no tomorrow, so why not cut straight to the chase and make the UV element a key theme of the festival, alongside some top-notch dance talent and live bands? That's exactly what this micro festival aims to do, bringing in some great underground selectors to soundtrack an all-day and all-night party containing a mind-expanding amount of UV lights and strobes, and a lot of party-hungry revellers covered in UV paint and ready to dance their rave-coloured socks off.
Musical highlights include deep techno and disco duo Him_Self_Her, soulful house producer One Bit, minimal house DJ Suze Rosser, deep beats-fiend The Wolf and crossover electronic-rock band Santiago Street Machine. If you're going to UV Festival then remember to sort your travel – you'll need to make your way towards Gatwick Airport and then to New House Farm in Burstow, Surrey – a short taxi ride from the airport.
