Simon Day's rock god character creation and the man who 'invented World Music' plays a one off show, live in the West End: 'Only Live For Only One Night Only'. It's an 'evening with' situation, with Pern (loosely based on Peter Gabriel) in conversation with 'documentary maker' Rhys Thomas, who made the BBC series. To celebrate 'the first anniversary of the tenth anniversary of the twentieth anniversary of the tenth anniversary' of Pern's first solo album, he'll even be performing some of his greatest hits (plenty of Thotch) live on stage, with special guests to be announced.
Please note: this show has been rescheduled from October 19 2015. Ticket holders for the original date will be contacted by the ticket sellers.

an avid Thotch fan for many years (and before that the Stowe Boys) I was
thrilled to get another chance to see Brian perform last night.
The show was sensational, a musical journey with so many of the recording collaborators he has worked with over the years making appearances.
Brian’s muse, Majita, has a wonderful voice, and stepped in bravely whilst Brian recovered from the surprise revelation of an unknown lovechild.
The guest performance from Mark King was very special, but my night was complete with the full Thotch reunion at the close. Tony Pebbles perfect plodding on the keys and Pat Quid's almost desire to be there made this a very special night for the diehard fans.
I'm pleased to say world music is still in safe hands.
