What can we say about Daniel Kitson that hasn't been said before? Not much, really. He's a comedy god, and arguably one of the funniest comics working today, but doesn't appear on TV, has no agent, and can crash venue websites with one email to his mailing list. Every Kitson show is breathtakingly outstanding; a beautifully written masterclass in eloquent, intelligent stand-up. In more recent years, Kitson's gone 'theatrical' and written more story-driven shows. But he describes 'After the Beginning. Before the End' as 'something like a stand-up show', and we can't wait. Of course, this run at the Battersea Arts Centre is long sold out. The BAC's ticketing system was brought to its knees. You'll just have to join his mailing list and hope for the best next time…
