The triumphant winner of last year's Best Newcomer gong at the Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Awards, John Kearns is a masterful absurdist. In his debut solo show, 'Sight Gags for Perverts' (which he's now bringing to the Soho Theatre), Kearns never explains why he’s wearing a monk’s wig, a pair of false teeth and a deflated horse costume, but they make his screechy self-loathing all the more ridiculous. He's a true comedy original.
