I've seen quite a bit of stand-up and, especially at a venue outside of Central London, was expecting the usual spread one good comic, couple OK, couple not so good. But......all of these were really funny! And a engaging friendly crowd made it a thouroughly enjoyable evening. I too will be back on the 22ndNov :)
Stand up comedy usually causes me to smile (sometimes out of sympathy) but very rarely, does it provoke a full-on audible reaction. Oh how different this fantastic comedy night was - I was crying with laughter, act after act!
The standard of the comics was so high, both I and the fellow "grinner" beside me, could be heard laughing loud and clear. This was undoubtedly one of the best and funniest comedy nights I've been to. Friends from as far afield as Greenwich, will be returning for the next one - That's how good this was!
