Very likeable stand-up Tez Ilyas had a great fun at last year's Edinburgh Fringe with this show – his solo debut. 'Tez Talks' is a mock lecture, apparently at the end of a course the audiences has taken to convert to Islam.
The Blackburn-born comic tells punters the ten commandments for how their new faith is relevant to UK life, and uses this to veer off into silly observations, witty anecdotes and make serious points about being a British-born Muslim living in the UK. It's a breezy yet emotional show, and full of heart.
