After months of working their creative powers ragged, Weirdos Comedy Club promoter Adam Larter and his whimsical storytelling partner in crime Matthew Highton are finally ready to reveal 'The Colonel': an alternative Christmas panto. This seasonal production follows last year's theatrical interpretation of the 1991 Disney hit 'Hook', during which the Weirdos team performed a brilliantly silly, shambolic version of the entire film. Many more preposterous scenes will undoubtedly ensue in 'The Colonel', but unlike 'Hook', this is a completely original performance. Have you ever wondered how a simple chicken-fryer became a colonel? Well wonder no more, because the Weirdos will explain it all in a tale of war and cocks. Featuring a cast including Ali Brice, Ben Target, Beth Vyse, John Kearns, Pat Cahill, Chris Boyd, Stuart Laws, Gareth Morinan, Marny Godden and of course Larter and Highton. Here for four fun-fuelled nights, to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
