A Feeling For Practice

Dance Umbrella's annual discussion series continues with an event entitled 'Revivals: Moving Beyond the Steps', which addresses the way artists revive seminal works and whether it is more than a matter of teaching the steps. Choreographer Richard Alston discusses reviving his 1983 piece 'Wildlife' and Candoco director Pedro Machado talks about reviving Trisha Brown's 'Set and Reset'. Dancers – live and on film – will illustrate the presentations.
