Two titans of European dance, Rosas founder Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and experimental theatre maker Jérome Bel, come together with contemporary music ensemble Ictus in '3Abschied'. De Keersmaeker's passion for Gustav Mahler's 'Song of the Earth', and especially it's final movement, 'Der Abschied' ('The Farewell') was the starting point for this work. De Keersmaeker then invited Bel to help her investigate whether it was even possible to choreograph in a way thay would do justice to this great music. Find out the result here.
