As part of the V&A's 'Post Modernism: Style and Subversion 1970-1990' exhibition, Karole Armitage's company performs her 1985 piece 'Watteau Duets', which upturns the classical pas de deux form. Performed to live music by sonic duo Talibam!, the dancers move through stages of courtship from flirtation to eroticism to mundanity. The performance will be followed by a discussion on postmodernism and dance featuring Armitage herself.
