Batuke!

Weekend festival of Afro-Latin dance, led by Iris De Brito and Kizomba UK. A chance to experience dances from the Luso-African dispora (that is, Portuguese-speaking countries) and some of their infuences from the Caribbean and Europe. Try kuduro, semba, funana, coladera, coupe decale and many more. There are workshops suitable for all levels, with performances and parties every evening. On Monday, the Batuke team will be taking the first ever Afro-Latin sound system to Notting Hill carnival. Register in advance to take part in the festival and/or the parade.
