Cultura Obscura

Part of the These Lands Are Your Lands weekend at the Southbank, Cultura Obscura is a celebration of ancient customs, folk song and dance. There'll be impromptu performances of sword, morris, clog and step dance from around the British Isles and free workshops to learn the steps, including: Irish set dancing (11am Sat & Sun); Cornish broom dance (Sat 12pm); Northumbrian rapper sword dance (Sat 2pm, Sun 1pm); Cornish scoot dancing (Sat 3pm); horndance (Sun 2pm). There's also social dancing in the Clore Ballroom at the end of the day.
