Time Out says

Sadlers Wells launches its inaugural dance film festival, Dance Digital. Held in the Lilian Baylis studio, the three day event will be packed with film screenings, talks, networking sessions and mentoring opportunities.

The judges have whittled down 415 submissions from 55 countries into a programme of 45 films that will be screened along with two VR experiences. An awards ceremony on the Saturday night will crown the best films in six categories.

Highlights include five feature-length films. Rojo Clavel (Red Carnation) from Spain tells the story of virtuosic dancer Manuel Liñan as he chooses a life of Flamenco over bullfighting; Drenched (Australia) by Douglas Reddan and Caetyln Watson from follows ten characters’ psychedelic journey at a house party; Réka Szabó’s award-winning The Euphoria of Being (Hungary) explores life after Auschwitz.
