Ea Sola

Vietnamese contemporary dance comes to London courtesy of French-Vietnamese choreographer Ea Sola. This work, 'Drought and Rain', is the recreation of a piece made in 1995 as the result of research into the traditional music and dance of Vietnam and the lasting effect of the war on the Vietnamese people. Sola worked with a group of elderly women from north Vietnam whose singing had consoled soldiers who were on the front line.
