Electric Midwife

New York choreographer Beth Gill brings her Bessie Award-winning work 'Electric Midwife' to Dance Umbrella. This one should appeal to fans of movement-based work (as opposed to the more way-out theatrical experiments you might see across the rest of the festival). Gill's formal, finely structured work might owe a debt to modern choreographers who have come before her, but it still comes out looking fresh.
