An unorthodox dance theatre performance by Canadian artist Melanie Jones in which the audience follows Jones as she runs across 5km of parkland, using the marathon as a metaphor for the endurance and resilience we need to get through life. Set to a soundtrack of songs by Swedish composer Christine Owman, underscored by the runner's own inner monologue, the audience listens on personal mp3 players while witnessing Jones's journey. The performer's pace will move between stillness and sprint but audience members do not have to run and can watch from any perspective they choose.
