Choreographer Michael Keegan-Dolan collaborates with musician Liam Ó Maonlaí (Hothouse Flowers) on a new work 'Rian', which take its name and inspiration from Ó Maonlaí's 2005 solo album. Dancers and musicians will share the stage in this work, which also honours Irish composer Sean Ó Riada. A strong and original voice in dance theatre, Keegan-Dolan's previous works with Fabulous Beast have upturned traditional ballet stories ('Giselle'), Irish myth ('The Bull') and legendary scores ('The Rite of Spring'), but this should be a new kind of exploration for the choreographer.
