Choreographer Frauke Requardt has made some interesting works over the last few years, not least the visually inventive 'Electric Hotel' and her Place Prize duet with Freddie Opoku-Addaie. This work, 'Episode', however, is not one of them. In a performance at The Place earlier this year we saw a wilfully random concoction of clown make-up, live music, Inuit, fishing and bright red wigs. The highlight involved one dancer diving down a toilet, but apart from that it was claustrophobic, trying and rather boring. One to miss.
