Haitian Vodou Dance Workshop

Two days of workshops in the rarely taught art of Hatian dance. Teacher Zsuzsa Parrag studied in Port-au-Prince for 10 years and is now introducing the dance to Europe. Described as 'beautiful, ecstatic and intense', it's a form that comes out of Vodou rituals, danced in honour of different spirits. Workshops will be accompanied by live percussion and Parrag will explain the character and meaning of each dance.
