Inspired by India's legends, 'La Bayadere' is a sumptuous ballet by Marius Petipa. Two powerful men fall in love with a temple dancer, and their rivalry powers a haunting ballet of love and revenge. Here, it's performed by Russian company The Mariinsky Ballet as part of their summer season at the Royal Opera House.
