Peter Schaufuss Ballet: Hamlet

Danish choreographer Peter Schaufuss returns to London with his version of Hamlet, set to music by late-Romantic Danish composer Rued Langgaard and using monolgues recorded by John Gielgud. Once an acclaimed dancer and director (of the London Festival Ballet), Schaufuss's recent productions have been on the shaky side. The interest here is likely to lie in the setting, as the contemporary ballet is performed in the neo-gothic church hall of St Katharine's.
