Rafael Amargo's 'Poet in New York' is a 'multimedia extravaganza' based on a poem by Federico Garcia Lorca and featuring 1930s-inspired video and imagery. Amargo trained briefly at the Martha Graham school in New York and brings a range of influences, including jazz, ballet, folk and musical theatre to his flamenco performances. Incidentally, Amargo also choreographed the musical 'Zorro', which played in London a few years back, so he knows how to put on a good show.
