Regimes of Hardship

The final instalment of a series of performances from artist Martin O'Brien. 'Regimes of Hardship' takes on the subject of endurance, in illness and in art. O'Brien suffers from cystic fibrosis and this disorder informs his artistic practice. In a long tradition of live art, bodily fluids are a key element in his work – you have been warned. The installation lasts for 12 hours and audience members are free to come and go as they please.
