The masterful Richard Alston is a pillar of the British contemporary dance scene and his consummately musical works are a joy to watch. This programme includes a collage of extracts from some of his early works: 'Something To Do' (1969), 'Still Moving Still' (1969), 'Rainbow Ripples' (1980) and 'Wildlife' (1983). You can also see a new work by Alston, set to Mozart's Piano Sonata No.15, plus a new piece by Martin Lawrance and a revival of Robert Cohan's 'In Memory', made for London Contemporary Dance Theatre in 1989.
