Richard Alston/National Dance Company Wales

As part of the national dance showcase, British Dance Edition, a double bill featuring a new work by exemplary choreographer Richard Alston and a performance from National Dance Company Wales. Alston is well known for his acutely musical contemporary movement, and this latest piece, 'Unfinished Business', is his interpretation of Mozart's unfinished Piano Sonata K533. National Dance Company Wales takes on a piece by American choreographer Stephen Petronio, 'By Singing Light', based on the poetry of Dylan Thomas. Both pieces are performed to live music.
