Angelo is such an amazing teacher! Forget Pineapple and Danceworks, come here, and you get a teacher who cares about you.
The absolute best. Going to RDA has been a genuine lifechanger for me.
A welcoming atmosphere and very high quality tuition make this a top choice
for dancers at all levels.
Whatever your level of experience, this is a safe space in which to express yourself, work towards your goals and enjoy plenty of laughs and support along the way.
You should join in. Seriously, why are you still reading this?! Go there now!
I would highly recommend RDA ballet classes. The teachers are very professional and bring different experience from Italy and Brazil. Body conditioning and pointe classes are amazing, as a beginner you can really see progress after few months! Angelo puts a lot of effort to ensure students improve their technique and if you wish can participate in dance show! Students and teachers are very friendly and nice athmospehere to learn ballet, I have been attending RDA classes for a year and would continue again, :)
I would highly recommend this dance school. Amazing teachers both Angelo the artistic director and Sandra. Amazing technique and finally amazing ambiance and artistic vibes. I hadn't touch a pair of pointe shoes since 8 years and the progresses you make are breathtaking! There are three classes a week without mentioning body contioning so its a fab price/quality ratio !!
There is also a show and apart from ballet there is flamenco, modern and a lot more !
TRY IT you wont be disappointed !!
And finally the studio is amazing and the tips from the teachers very personal and very useful !
Well, well, well - where to start? I can't recommend this dance school highly enough. Focusing on performance and practical approach to the continuous development of dancers' potential capabilities, I was able to progress at much faster pace than I was expecting given that I was attending most of classes without absence. If you're ready to embarking on a new journey as a dancer and determine to progress with intensive schedule (three times a week for a ballet) , then you're in a right place!
The adorable teacher, Angelo and Sandra are capable of guiding and assisting you through entire journey you'll be on and transforming you as an enthusiastic dancer!
It was life-changing experience for me when I turned up at taster class and since then, I can't wait to go for a next class. Did I mention about classmates? It's an extremely friendly environment where you can learn from each other and you'll soon be part of the group. Also we do the show regularly for an event which provides an another great opportunity to progress and learn faster.
So why wait? If you've been thinking about dancing then just turn up and find out! You won't regret.
The Intensive Dance Programme (IDP) at the Ruggieri Dance Academy is a life-chantingly brilliant dance course for beginners/improvers. I’ve just completed Level One (12 weeks, four hours every weekend) and already have better balance and control, some basics of ballet, jazz and contemporary down, and the inspiration to learn as much as I can. I have two years of Latin partner dancing experience but all the movements make so much more sense now.
Contemporary teacher, Valeria, moves like mercury and gets you doing the same. Performance teacher, Tony, helps you understand the way the music, lyrics and choreography all work together so you don’t just get through the routine, you feel it. Jazz and ballet teacher and studio founder, Angelo, is the real deal – a principle ballerino and professional choreographer. He’s by far the best dance teacher I’ve had in London and he has respect for his students. Plus he’s hilarious, which helps when you’re literally falling on the floor trying to learn to pirouette at the age of 31.
This is such a wonderful dance school. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming and the classes facilitate a wide range of dance ability. There is a great emphasis on technique alongside freedom in creativity and expression. The instruction is so personal and directive so you can feel encouraged and also know how to improve. You get to meet lots of really lovely people and take part in fabulous shows. It's really special to be a part of - highly recommend!
I think I'm really lucky to have joined RDA and got to know the teacher Angelo. In class, he is a real professional teaching many techniques and giving advice on how to improve while making it look easy and fun! Outside class I am lucky enough to call him and my classmates close friends. I had never danced before joining RDA but Angelo has taught me that anybody can be a dancer/performer as long as they have the passion for it.
Fantastic school! The teachers are super professional and dedicated, they really care about their students and focus on technique. The environment is amazing, super friendly. There are different dance styles and all levels from beginners to advanced. There is a class for anybody who loves dancing and wants to learn! I definitely recommend it.
I love the time I spend at the school, the teachers - Angelo and Cindy - are very professional. The classes are never boring, besides the exercises we also prepare shows at any time of the year. This is quite unusual but just exactly what I was looking for! Great school!
Angelo is fantastic!
He cured my dance-phobia and turned me into a dance-addict!!
The people there are super nice as well.
This studio is great for leaning and for socialising too!!
I've been to almost every dance school in London before I found and settled here. This place is perfect if you're looking to actually learn how to dance. The other schools just cater to people who have been doing it since they were 5. All the teachers here are technique oriented. So you'll walk away with a skill every time and can note progress. Performance opportunities for everyone and humour make this one of the most fun places. The studio has a family feel - far from cliquey.
I love the IDP, I feel I can actually feel myself getting better. Other schools seem to suck you into endless routines and choreography- it can be fun- but ultimatetely depressing when tons of money and time later you haven't learned anything.
This is a smart fun approach to dancing and really is one of a kind in London. Great for beginners and advanced.
The location is easy- it's 1 stop from bank and around the corner from canary wharf.
I have been dancing at RDA for more than a year. It's such an amazing experience! Not only you can learn all different kinds of dance, you even got the chance to perform periodically. The teachers are absolutely wonderful - very professional in terms of dance and easy going after class. One thing I didn't expect when I sign up for the class is that the reward can even be friendship and love!
Great school! Professional teachers, nice environment, I'm feeling being cared at all time! And they provide a chance to performance at public!
