Having mesmerised everyone with his last piece, 'AfterLight', based on the drawings of Nijinsky, choreographer Russell Maliphant turns to another arty inspiration – the sculptor Auguste Rodin. For 'The Rodin Project', Maliphant has incorporated elements of popping and breaking into his usually fluid movement style. The work comes with a new score by Russian composer Alexander Zekke and lighting by long-term collaborator Michael Hulls.
