Russell Maliphant: Still Current

An evening of small-scale works by Russell Maliphant, the ballet dancer turned contemporary choreographer who draws on martial arts in his work. Maliphant will be making a rare appearance on stage himself in a duet with dancer Carys Staton. There will also be a solo for the powerful hip hop dancer Dickson Mbi, an all-male trio using aspects of Brazilian capoeira, and a revival of 'Afterlight (Part One)', a quietly intense piece that's well worth seeing.
