Saburo Teshigawara/KARAS

Japanese choreographer and director Saburo Teshigawara draws on his studies in classical ballet and plastic arts in his work for his company KARAS, which spans the visual art/dance divide. 'Mirror and Music' is his latest, a piece for eight dancers (and Teshigawara himself) exploring the tangible/intangible nature of music and of our own reflections. With high-concept sets, lighting and costumes, 'Mirror and Music' should be an intensely sensory experience.
