Sadhana Dance

'Elixir' is a dance piece examining our relationship with water and the problem of dwindling resources. Choreographer Subathra Subramaniam, former co-director of Angika Dance Company, launched Sadhana Dance with the aim of making thought-provoking dance works. Drawing on her experience as a science teacher, working with the Cape Farewell climate change project and visits to India and the Arctic, Subramaniam uses visual art, digital projection, song and bharata natyam dance to explore her chosen subject matter.
