Time Out says

A new piece from Subathra Subramaniam and Sadhana Dance inspired by the operating theatre. Bharata natyam dancer Subramaniam has worked with former trauma surgeon Professor Roger Kneebone to explore the unseen practices of the operating theatre and look at the connections between surgery and dance – intricate detail, perfect timing and precisely controlled exchanges. Before the performance, Kneebone hosts an event exploring the parallels between disciplines from tailoring to poetry to plastic surgery (7pm), and the show is followed by a 'Cafe Scientifique' discussion between the scientists and artists involved in creating the piece. On Saturday afternoon there are also two free events, 'Surgical Simulations', a mobile operating theatre simulating what goes on under the knife (2pm, 3pm & 4pm, free but booking essential. Age 11+), as well as a demonstration of the latest in computer technology and virtual reality, exploring the field of touch in surgery (2-5pm).
