Screening: Manon

A live relay of the Royal Ballet's 'Manon', beamed from Covent Garden. As well as the performance there'll be an introduction from former dancer Deborah Bull and BBC presenter Zeb Soanes plus exclusive backstage footage. The ballet, choreographed by Kenneth MacMillan, is a story of high passions, featuring a young woman who chooses a rich husband over her true love, with disastrous consequences. Real-life couple Alina Cojocaru and Johan Kobborg are scheduled to play the leads. Bring a blanket, a picnic and something to keep warm.
