Siobhan Davies collaborates with dance artist Matthias Sperling on a new work for the Whitechapel Gallery, made in response to the Clare Barclay installation 'Shadow Spans'. The piece involves Sperling playing a Twister-like game, moving slowly around the gallery while balanced precariously on upturned plastic pots. What the dance has to do with the art is anyone's guess but if you can get in the zone it's actually a surprisingly charming and absorbing performance that's all about paying attention and noticing the details.
