Catalan dancemaker Sol Pico takes on the subject of ageing in 'El Lac de les Mosques' ('The Lake of the Flies'), a surreal and explosive piece of dance theatre that takes on the form of a rock gig, with a live backing band and Pico as the frontwoman (except she dances, rather than sings). Although the ageing she's addressing is her own, Pico is still a full-on performer, whether tottering on pointe shoes or stuffing herself into a washing machine. (We said it was surreal.)
