South London's Rite of Spring

Canadian dance artist Brian Solomon creates a new version of 'The Rite of Spring' in Deptford, with a cast of dancers, actors and members of the local community. Solomon is a choreographer who is interested in creating performance in unusual spaces and 'South London's Rite of Spring' will take place outside the Laban centre along Deptford Creek. The performance will mark the centenary of the London premiere of the original Stravinsky/Nijinsky 'Rite of Spring'.
