The Public House

Six independent dance artists take over an empty unit in Elephant and Castle shopping centre for a week of dance happenings. Hiru is the collective name for choreographers Charlie Ashwell, Jamila Johnson-Small, Eleanor Sikorski, Moreno Solinas, Igor Urzelai and Flora Wellesley Wesley, all interesting emerging artists on the experimental dance scene. A different artist will be in residence each day and the public are invited to visit for free tea and biscuits, a chat and to watch some performance. A programme of five short dance works will be performed each evening.
