In parallel with a season of Yvonne Rainer's feature films at the BFI, and to tie in with The Hayward's 'Move' exhibition, curator Chantal Pontbriand has put together the Yvonne Rainer Project, an installation dedicated to the influential American choreographer-turned-filmmaker. The show features the first European showing of 2002's 'After Many a Summer Dies the Swan', as well as projections of two recent choreographies: 'RoS Indexical', based on interpretations of 'The Rite of Spring', and 'AG Indexical with a Little Help from HM', inspired by Balanchine's 'Agon'.
