This bouncy hip hop musical by choreographer Kate Prince is back in the West End after wowing audiences when it premiered in 2011. 'Some Like It Hip Hop' is very loosely based on the Billy Wilder film of almost the same name, with a dash of Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night' thrown in. The show skips from comical slapstick to sentimental drama to soulful musical theatre, via backspins, popping and locking, and despite the slightly convoluted first act plot, by the end you will be completely infected by the cast's upbeat energy. Our advice: just go with it and you'll have a ball. Suitable for ages 7+.
