Handel's pastoral entertainment is presented in a newly edited concert version, with a narration, by Raymond Leppard. Starring Dame Janet Baker (narrator), Ruby Hughes (soprano), Ed Lyon (tenor) and Joao Fernandes (bass). Raymond Leppard conducts the English Chamber Orchestra and Choir of the 21st Century.
