Der Freischütz

The Monteverdi Choir and Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique under Sir John Eliot Gardiner perform Weber's 'Der Freischütz' (French version, 1841, with recitatives by Berlioz; concert performance). With tenor Andrew Kennedy (Max), soprano Sophie Karthäuser (Agathe), bass Gidon Saks (Kaspar), soprano Virginie Pochon (Ännchen) and bass-baritone Matthew Brook (Kuno).
