The Impresario and Pagliacci

The Garden Opera company, with Broomfield House School, presents a double bill of shorts. Mozart's 'Impresario' lampoons the opera world in a 'casting couch' comedy teeming with outlandish characters and sexual innuendo. It is followed by Leoncavallo's verismo tale of a troupe of travelling players, where jelousy leads to murder. The director is Saffron van Zwanenberg.
