In 1953 the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II brought together many of Britain’s leading designers such as Hugh Casson, Powell & Moya and others to design street decorations for London. Through photographs and drawings, this pop-up exhibition showcases the way in which these designers celebrated the monarch’s accession to the throne and created a unique backdrop for the eyes and television cameras of the world.
