Time Out says

The ‘BD’ stands for ‘Bande Dessinée’, but don’t be intimidé: this four-day festival celebrating all things comics – comic books, graphic novels, comix and so on – brings dozens of English creators to the Institut Français, along with artists and writers from across the Channel.

Now back for a third year running, the festival spans film screenings, creator talks, drawing workshops and more, but the best events tend to be the least conventional. Drink & Draw mixes live drawing with wine tasting, while two Drawing Jams, back by popular demand, pair artists’ drawn improvisations with live songs performed by French musicians La Grande Sophie and GiédRé.
