Bike the Borough 2012

Sustainable Travel Team’s 18.5 mile dedicated, signed route taking in all the sights and sounds of Lambeth is back. All you have to do is turn up at one of the hubs, grab a mab and a passport, get it stamped and hit the road; remember to get your passport stamped at each hub (or at least two) to be entered into the competition. There will be led rides leaving each hub ever hour on the hour from 11am and hubs are located at Archbishop’s Park, Clapham Common, Streatham Common and Brockwell Park where there will be cycling related entertainment, and the chance to have a sandwich and a drink. If you have any accessibility needs local charity ‘Wheels for Wellbeing’ is on hand to help out with specially adapted bikes for hire and the offer of a bike buddying service if you’d like to take part but are worried about taking to the road on your own.
